Established in 1999, Xmed Medical and Oxygen Equipment set out to create a patient focused home medical equipment company with 1 employee and a van. Within several years XMED expanded from Dallas to Austin and Houston. Soon Xmed realized a trend in the marketplace where after market service was overlooked by many companies in effort to focus on new sales. Over the years, many providers have changed their product mix, or gone out of business and patients are left without service.
Repair Xpress was born to insure that patient's needs were met regardless of who initially provided the equipment. Many parts on motorized wheelchairs and scooters wear out making the equipment unusable or unsafe including batteries, chargers, wheels/tires and motors, etc. While insurance companies will typically allow for new equipment after 5 years of the initial purchase, these parts may last a year or two, depending on the usage.
Today, Repair Xpress services patients nationwide and is honored to meet your requests. We service most makes and models of wheelchairs and scooters.
